John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth..John 17:17 Jesus is the way, the truth and the life..John 14:6
When it comes to shopping, there are comparisons and research we make before we decide to buy. We want to know "what type it is" or "what it is made of" to prove its quality. We evaluate everything, when we choose to buy a car, a house, a school or the friends we pick.
The Bible says we are to test the spirits to see whether they are of God to discern between truth and error. The Bereans of the 1st Christian Churches diligently searched the Apostle's doctrine.
What is the opposite of truth?...a lie. And lies are of the devil. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.John 8:44. If we have the truth then let us believe it in our hearts, live by it, bear fruit of it and share it with others. We may have problems with the latter at times because of our weakness in the flesh. But howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: John 16:13
I want to bring light on a dark subject. I knew it well as I was in the middle of its snare at one time for many years...it's catholicism. But I hear some Christians almost thinking it's ok, even a local Christian Radio Station allowing the vain, ungodly, rosary prayers for 30 minutes each day and I have called to complain 2 or 3 times but I want to show by scripture, why it is not ok in God's sight.
If the Lord wills, may the next upcoming postings on this subject and other doctrinal subjects be a reference point to those who are caught in its snare or those friends and family you are praying for.
Once again you have stated the truth in a wonderful way. Keep up the good work. I know there are many people whom you are reaching with the Truth.
