I have been reading 1st and 2nd Corinthians in my personal devotional times and just am amazed how God speaks to my heart in certain passages that I know I have read many times before but for some reason right now I need these verses to "selah" mediate on and be reassured of God's promises. Its like God saying "be encouraged"....be ye encouraged as well my friend in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:8... who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:9... God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 5:8...Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
1 Corinthians 9:10...or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be a partaker of his hope.
2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
