About Me

My photo
I was graciously saved from charismatic confusion and catholicism tradition unto Jesus alone by John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me" which I read in a Jack Chick tract called "This Was Your Life" given me from a Christian friend. At the end I broke into a cold sweat because of heavy conviction that what I just read I was guilty of and knew I was in trouble. I was given a book called "A Divine Revelation to Hell" from a Christian which scared the "hell" out of me. After reading another tract called "Last Rites" I prayed to God to forgive me and Jesus to save me because I didn't want to go to hell but go to Heaven one day. Jesus knew I could not save myself so He died on that cross for me. Now I give out Chick tracts, gospel movies, and Biblical archeology newspapers so that God may be glorified in me through His Son Jesus, Messiah. Don't ever give up on your family and friends you pray for because his Word doesn't return void. And one day, you may hear God say unto you "..Well done thou good and faithful servant:..enter thou into the joy of thy Lord" Matthew 25:21,23 Amen

Welcome All Who Seek to Know What God Is Doing In These Last Days!
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man...Luke 21:36 And in Acts 2:17-21 It says "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Great Article from Brother Mark Cahill He Is As Bold As A Lion...

Some of us go to a movie, play sports, have social events to attend, work late...but Mark Cahill is a true minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He shares Jesus every chance he gets and is as bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1b) and is a friend of Charles Barkley the famous basketball player and is the author of "One Heartbeat Away" a very good witnessing tool of the Gospel to be shared with unbelievers.

Get A Backbone

I was speaking at a men’s event in South Carolina recently. Whenever events like these pop up on my schedule, they are a great time of fellowship. They always give me the opportunity to encourage and challenge men to be men.
1 Corinthians 16:13,14:
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.”
“Quit” in this verse means to act. God is telling me to act like a man. We live in crazy times right now because the world is trying to emasculate men. However, men are different than women and women are different than men. Men are supposed to act like men, and they are supposed to be strong.
It is every Christian’s job to stand up for what is right and to stand against what is wrong, but it is especially the job of a man. Men are called to be leaders. They are protectors. They are called to provide security to others. And when men draw the correct line between right and wrong, it creates a shelter of safety for others.
We are living in a time when people can’t even figure out which bathroom they are supposed to walk into. Men, it is your job to tell others which facilities to use. If you have a child struggling with sexuality issues, it is your job to invest a lot of time in them by studying the Word of God together and getting them through these confusing times.
I may have mentioned this story before, but I have spoken three or four times at West Point and West Point retreats for cadets. Once, I was chatting with one of the ladies who worked with the female cadets. She pointed out something so interesting that I have never forgotten it. She said she notices that women cadets will actually start to morph into men. I asked her what she meant, and she explained that they will start walking like guys and lowering the pitch of their voices to sound like men as they command their platoon or group. The entire time I was hearing this, all I could think was we already have men! Men are the ones who need to act like men. Ladies, there is nothing—and I mean absolutely nothing—worth losing your biblical femininity over.
Joshua 1:9:
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
Men of God are supposed to be strong and courageous. There really is no other option. As I always tell people, we have enough wimpy Christian males in our day and age. Men need to stand strong for what is right, and let the chips fall where they may.
A friend and I were emailing about the Jewish Shema (pronounced shuh-mah) the other day. The Shema is Deuteronomy 6:4-9:
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
“And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
“And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
“And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.”
Men of God are different from all other men in how they interact with their families and communities. Men of God are not supposed to be like everybody else, and that is always a good thing.
Ephesians 6:1-4:
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
“Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
“That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
Fathers are critically important in the raising of a child. If they bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, watch out! Those young ones have the chance to become biblical watchmen in the army of the Lord for their entire lives. However when fathers provoke their children, I typically meet them in prisons. Their anger—and many times hatred—of their fathers have sent them down a very dark path in life with a very dark destination.
One thing men need to get is a backbone. A backbone is a symbol of both strength and character. It means you won’t budge. It means you know what you believe. It means you will stand strong, even if the whole world crumbles around you. Why? Because you know you stand on the Word of God and you know you are standing with the King of Kings! This confidence helps to give you that good, strong backbone.
As true men of God, we can’t worry about what others think of us. We must lead our lives and live in ways that are pleasing to Jesus, and no one else. When that is accomplished, Jesus will use you in ways that your heart and mind can’t even imagine.
Christian men also need to be the backbone of their families, communities, and workplaces. A solid foundation of Christian men in any community will make it harder for the enemy to get that community off track.
The morning I was in Florence giving this message, I bought a family’s breakfast. They were stunned. They couldn’t believe it. It led to a neat conversation, and they have already emailed me from Virginia Beach. But as I told the waitress that I wanted to pick up their check, the hostess overheard me. She pulled me aside and said she needed to tell me something. Her husband had shot her four times in the face, but there were no entrance wounds on her face. The paramedics couldn’t believe it when they showed up. She still has four bullets in her head! The paramedics said, “You had some angels around you.” She said, “Nope, a King!!”
It is backbone time. Look around you. We need men and women with biblical backbones more than at any other time in our history. We need backbones that are strong and straight. Backbones that have not bent over to accommodate the world. Backbones that are fortified with truth. So men and women of God, never forget that as you live this life for the Lord, you have a King protecting you at all times! Your job is to walk in lockstep with Him by living and proclaiming all the days of your life, “Long live the King!!”

Another Great Monthly Article from Mark Cahill called "Working On It"

Working On It

In the cold weather, it is always fun to move your witnessing indoors. One of the first places I ever witnessed back in the day was at a mall. Now, during the Christmas season, I love to hit the malls! Lost people love buying gifts, and I love talking to them!
After some fantastic hours of witnessing at Cumberland Mall here in Atlanta recently, I got hungry. No big surprise there! For some reason I had a craving for Cheesecake Factory. I think that is called ‘lust of the flesh!’ Thankfully, there was one connected to the mall. By the time I left, I had given out more than thirty books to people who were also dining, had a great talk with my waiter, and even had a nice talk with the General Manager who just loved the Lord!
But that wasn’t my entire mission trip. While I was in there, I told my waiter that I wanted to pick up the meal for a couple sitting at a certain table. So the waitress of that table told them that their meal was picked up and pointed over at me. They both swung their heads in my direction, so I got up and headed on over there. They wanted to know why I picked up their tab for them. I said, “I am a Christian and Jesus said it is more blessed to give than receive, and I take those words very seriously. So I decided to bless y’all with your meal today.”
They just had these stunned looks on their faces. So I added, “I thought maybe it was your first date or something and that is a good time to bless someone.’ Edna and Roscoe burst out laughing. Edna said, “We have been married 42 years!!” “Oh,” I said. “I wasn’t too far off!” Well that got them laughing some more.
So I sat down with them, and we began to chat. During the conversation, I said, “Are you born again and saved?” Edna very quickly said, “I am.” With a very strong emphasis on the ‘I.’ I swung my head and looked at Roscoe. He just shook his head side to side. I said, “What is holding you back from getting saved Roscoe?” He responded, “I am working on it.”
What an answer! Sadly, it is an answer I have heard way too many times during my life.
So I started thinking about it. We can work on a golf game; we can work on homework, and we can work on a project around the house, but if there’s anything we can’t work on to improve, it’s the flesh. Why? It’s at war with the things of God!
Romans 7:23:
“But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Romans 7:5:
“For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.”
Galatians 5:17:
“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”
Working on the flesh to get to heaven is a losing battle that will cost people their eternity! Rather than deceiving themselves through self-improvement, they need to know how the war for their souls can be won.
Romans 4:1-3:
“What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.”
Ephesians 2:8-10:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
Romans 4:5:
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
Titus 3:5:
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"
John 3:16:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Ezekiel 36:26, 27:
"A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."
2 Corinthians 5:17:
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Galatians 2:16:
"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
Romans 11:6:
"And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work."
Galatians 2:21:
"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
I have to be honest with you. I love getting older. Things are just becoming clearer with age and with the wisdom God gives you. I am also reading the Bible front to back again this year. The more and more you go through these verses, the clearer they become in context.
Always remember to let the clear verses help interpret the unclear verses. We are not going to figure out everything while we are down here. But some things are so simple, you cannot miss what God is saying.
As you read the Scriptures, it is clearer than a glass of filtered water, that works cannot get you into heaven, no matter how much you are working on it. You are either saved or lost. Born again or not. You are in one of two categories, and you better figure out quickly which one you are in.
There is one work though, that God will accept:
John 6:29:
"Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."
When you put your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all of your sins, that shows that you have not ‘earned’ your salvation, but let God do all of the work, so you can have biblical forgiveness.
I was in another mall, and I was talking with a former Army soldier who had a prosthetic arm. During our conversation, I asked, “Are you born again? Are you saved?” He responded, “I am working on it.” Well I guess you know how that conversation went!
Know what you believe. Make sure you are saved. Be clear in your gospel presentation to the lost. It is very important to be clear as a bell when talking with the lost in the coming days.

Bible Memorization

Topic is Soul Winning in our walk:

Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

How is your soul winning this month, this year?
