If we can learn to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus as our Messiah, our Lord and not just Him being our Savior, our lives will have real Joy that this world can't give because experience and reason only leaves a soul, empty, vane, hopeless, frustrated and restless because is is only horizontal of what is around us. But through the revelation or the revealing of God through Jesus who He sent down, that He not only saved us from hell, satan, sin and our self-destructiveness but unto Himself, unto a caring Father, unto a real and present help in trouble, unto Him who hears us and sees us, then we can have peace and a reassurance, an ease that no one, nothing, can fulfill but the Holy Presence of God in a soul. It's a Promise to the believer, draw near to Him and He WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU, IT'S A PROMISE!

Isaiah 26:3... perfect peace shall he be whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusted in thee...

I did not know how I lived before I became a Christian without God's peace. It's such a need in this brief and restless life of ours. You can know peace that passes your understand by Jesus but we must be intentional to trust Him by shutting down and getting on our knees and take deep breaths until we get quiet in God's presence and see that He's in Control (Psalm 46:10). His love for us is the best medicine if we take His offer.

God, as Father, is our protection, our light to lead us through the darkness all around us, and lifts up our head to look at Him in the face to encourage us and reassure us that He loves us and is not going away.
