About Me

My photo
I was graciously saved from charismatic confusion and catholicism tradition unto Jesus alone by John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me" which I read in a Jack Chick tract called "This Was Your Life" given me from a Christian friend. At the end I broke into a cold sweat because of heavy conviction that what I just read I was guilty of and knew I was in trouble. I was given a book called "A Divine Revelation to Hell" from a Christian which scared the "hell" out of me. After reading another tract called "Last Rites" I prayed to God to forgive me and Jesus to save me because I didn't want to go to hell but go to Heaven one day. Jesus knew I could not save myself so He died on that cross for me. Now I give out Chick tracts, gospel movies, and Biblical archeology newspapers so that God may be glorified in me through His Son Jesus, Messiah. Don't ever give up on your family and friends you pray for because his Word doesn't return void. And one day, you may hear God say unto you "..Well done thou good and faithful servant:..enter thou into the joy of thy Lord" Matthew 25:21,23 Amen

Welcome All Who Seek to Know What God Is Doing In These Last Days!
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man...Luke 21:36 And in Acts 2:17-21 It says "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Suffering and God

There was a comment made by an atheist listening to the Bible Forum http://thebibleforum.net that had seen their mother suffer with severe pain until her death. Some of the nurses and others offered to pray for this person's mother and her condition but did not see any progress and after 2 weeks she died. So this individual blames God and points out that Jesus was late and did nothing.

Well wait a minute. Has God done nothing? Does God care when we, his children, suffer? Does he really care when an unbeliever who doesn't care for Him suffers? Absolutely!! And where does this world's suffering come from?

Let's first look as to where suffering originates from and see if God is to blame.

And the LORD God commanded the man(Adam), saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die
...Genesis 2:16-17. And being deceived by the serpent satan...when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat...Genesis 3:6. ...Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?...Genesis 3:11b. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;...Genesis 3:16-17

As we can read and see, because of not following God's commands, sorrows(sufferings) were promised to the man and to the woman and eventually death. So SIN in us, in our rebellious heart, caused suffering and death in this world and NOT GOD. In another few passages we read..Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:...Romans 5:12. For the wages(payment)of sin is death...Romans 6:23. We are to blame. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law...1 John 3:4. And the devil is also to blame for deceiving Eve...He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil...1 John 3:8

I want to now show the very heart of God toward our suffering and his compassion, Love moved to action.

To the unbeliever, He is not WILLING that ANY should perish but that all should come to repentance..2 Peter 3:9. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit...Psalm 34:18. As we also read above in 1 John 3:8 that Jesus was sent to the earth to destroy the works of sin which caused our sufferings and death.

To the believers, The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all...Psalm 34:17,19. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it...Isaiah 25:8. Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?...Psalm 56:8

God first and foremost is acquainted with suffering than any of us can imagine and yes he did something about it. God the Father sent God the Son to watch Him suffer first by mockings, false accusations, humiliations, scourging and then die a cruel death though being innocent for one purpose...to die for all of his enemies. Would you or me send our only beloved daughter or son to die for the neighborhood bully or how about the world's deadliest murder? I sure wouldn't want too!! But look at the heart of God again and consider...For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved...John 3:16-17

God's Only Begotten Son Jesus was also acquainted with grief...
As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:..Isaiah 52:14 Jesus was slashed beyond recognition!
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not...Isaiah 53:3 Jesus was rejected of his own friends in time of need. But...
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God...Hebrews 12:2b

God has given us his presence when we are suffering, his mercy and Salvation by giving us his Son to die in our place from our own sin that we caused, and He has given us the Bible, the Word of Truth, He has given us the Church with many members in all parts of the earth to know and consider and learn about God and ask for forgiveness and say yes by Faith to his loving will and promises for us rebellious creatures and give us a new beginning with him, now and forever in Heaven by wiping all of our tears of sorrow away.

God does care and let us remember that the Cross is a sign of suffering from the One who did not deserve to die by it. It is compared to an electric chair, a tool of suffering. But we are reminded when we see one to thank Jesus who took on our sin sorrows upon himself. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us...Romans 8:18. Amen.

Topic is Soul Winning in our walk:

Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
