The Light of Truth In A World of Blinding Lights

 

I was riding my bike this evening and it was dark and decided to ride the walking path against the direction of traffic but safely distanced away from the road and oncoming traffic. I turned on my phone light to guide my path and way. What I did not anticipate are the oncoming blinding lights of traffic to snuff out the path of light that was leading my way. At times it was so blinding I almost rode into a ditch, a tree and off the curb...clumsy huh? Those who know me already know how clumsy I am in the daytime hehe but this was serious and got me thinking. The light coming against me and toward me looked fine, welcoming, bright, good, yea? Well no, not this time. If the light was not with me in my direction or I in its direction guiding and going before me I would have stumbled and fell.

This is a picture to me of God's light of truth leading me in His path His way He going before me to lead me on the straight and narrow path to His Home His Kingdom. But the light of false truths, half truths, man made truths, our own thinking truths are false lights that actually come and work against us! They make us stumble..check this truth out for example.. 

Proverbs 16:25   "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

 2 Thessalonians 2:10   "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

John 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 

John 8:32   And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 

I started to learn and pick up on the pattern...keep focus on my light more intensely and it worked. I stopped if I had to to make sure my light was guiding me and not the blinders. God's truth in His Word the Bible is to be read, remembered, pondering on, put into action. This is the only light which will lead us home in this life. Good object lesson. I love it when the Lord teaches me something in every day life...Amen. 

Look below these are examples of false truths, deceptions from the enemy trying to sway us in an already troubled nation of "IMAGINATION". Do you really know how much "IMAGINATION" our lives in america are influenced by? Where is the truth? Well don't look around, don't look down, look UP!!

I was thinking to donate this toy because it was left in a bag I found and I saw it inside and thought..." I don't want to throw it away it's a toy right??" Well...What do you see?? a toy of rebellion....bad truth stay away from these types of things even for our children. Here's another!...

The left van if you can't zoom has a sticker stating LIFE: CSI..."Christ Saves Individuals" Amen!
the right van if you can't zoom also has a sticker stating LIE: islam is the way of peace, joy and sincerity(can't see it very clearly and forgot) but the point...which is the truth? We will know them by their fruits.

Compare it to the Bible, the Word of Truth from the Truth Giver and Maker of Truth Jesus says...I AM the way, THE TRUTH, and the Life..No man cometh unto the Father(Where is He? In Heaven Of Course) but BY ME...John 14:6
