At the feet of God in Heaven at His Throne is the Sea of Glass....Moses and Joshua and 70 elders saw it and God in Exodus 24. It is described as a paved work(pavers) of a sapphire stone. Also the Apostle John saw it and God also from Patmos in Revelation 4 when he was carried in the Spirit to Heaven. Sapphire blue is my favorite color and I love the beach and now I know why when I became a Christian.
God rescued you and me by sending God, His Son to die on a roman Cross for our sin(stain within our hearts). Sin is noticed in everything you know is wrong about yourself and others, the flaws, the guiltiness, the shame, the bad in all of us. Jesus became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God through Christ, Messiah Jesus. Repenting(confessing and turning away from sin) and Accepting this work of Messiah Jesus as a gift from God by receiving it for yourself and getting forgiven and clean in your soul, changes you and me toward God, for God, of God to please God and a desire for Heaven. We have our weight of guilt lifted and have become a new creature(creation) and are given a second chance. We now know what joy is, what peace is and what love really is for the first time in our lives and it's selfless. It is a miracle to see and hear if you have known and seen someone who was not a Christian and then become one, it's a complete change, 180 degrees and is amazing. They are born again (John 3:3, 5) born from above. So this passage now makes sense...For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness but to Us which are saved, it is the power of God....(1 Corinthians 1:18) There is power and unending benefits in the Cross of Jesus and His power is to save and rescue all who come to Him. Come to your Savior today and be washed by His blood that was shed on the Cross and you will receive the gift of everlasting, never ending, eternal, forever and ever, life...(John 3:16)
Last thought, this paint is so complimentary of a very well accepted Christian song that has blessed many lives and myself included. It is from a Church Worship group called Hillsong from Australia and the name of the song is Oceans....here is the song and worship to Jesus....we thank you and praise you Lord.

My Love, surely the days are few that everything remains normal.
Chaos and great destruction are on the horizon and coming like a giant wave
speeding towards both the Just and Unjust. Many will come home in these
upcoming judgments. My angels will reach for them before they feel any impact
and they will be in My Kingdom. For those who are lost and die in these
judgments without Me, their inheritance is eternal suffering.
Shout it from the rooftops!
Now is the time of salvation!
Now is the time to repent!
How many days until so many perish? I tell you time is very short and I have warned through many but so many will not wake up until judgment is upon them.
Wake up O Sleeping America! Your days are numbered and no one will come to your aid. If only My people would turn from their wicked ways. My heart is heavy but still there is hope.
My few chosen will walk among the rubble leading many to Me in their last moments. Keep your eyes on Me and listen for My instructions for times are perilous and the world is covered in darkness. Be My lights, My children. Be My light and bring salvation to the lost for the time is now.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.

I am your light and salvation in whom you trust. I have prepared
you and your friends for the great adventure that lies just ahead for you. I
have humbled you and shown you your weaknesses. You have to rely on Me. I
am your strength and salvation and the breath that you breathe. There is no
other like Me. A King who dies for His people. You have been chosen for the
task that lies just ahead. You will be dressed and trained for your specific
mission. A mission in which you carry My Light and Love to a lost and dying
world. What lies just ahead has arrived, My Love. Soon you will fully
understand. Prepare your heart for the King comes to bestow gifts specifically
prepared for His Bride. You will radiate with My love and light and others will
be amazed. Some will be drawn to you and others will be repelled. The countdown
has begun. Sound the alarm for soon all you have heard will become a
reality. I love you Darling. Soon you will be in My arms....
