God's Promise of Hope...
Psalms 3:3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
God, as Father, is our protection, our light to lead us through the darkness all around us, and lifts up our head to look at Him in the face to encourage us and reassure us that He loves us and is not going away. I have needed Him often to lift up my head toward Him even though I did not feel worthy to do so. It's good to remember this promise.
