If we can learn to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus as our Messiah, our Lord and not just Him being our Savior, our lives will have real Joy that this world can't give because experience and reason only leaves a soul, empty, vane, hopeless, frustrated and restless because is is only horizontal of what is around us. But through the revelation or the revealing of God through Jesus who He sent down, that He not only saved us from hell, satan, sin and our self-destructiveness but unto Himself, unto a caring Father, unto a real and present help in trouble, unto Him who hears us and sees us, then we can have peace and a reassurance, an ease that no one, nothing, can fulfill but the Holy Presence of God in a soul. It's a Promise to the believer, draw near to Him and He WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU, IT'S A PROMISE!
